2D Wavespaces
2D wavespaces are two-dimensional 'ripple tank' simulations of electromagnetic waves, as seen from above (bird's-eye view).
When you add a wave source, waves are generated and travel within the wavespace.
There are three types of 2D wavespace: electromagnetic, sound and water.
Tips for use:
- Click the Cross-section view button on the wavespace's toolbar to open a cross-section of the wavespace. This displays a view of a 'slice' through the main wavespace. The red line in the
main window shows the location of the 'slice' represented by the cross-section. You can open additional cross-section views
by pressing the button again.
- Press the Reset button on the wavespace's toolbar to clear the waves and restart the wave generation from the source. Any
open cross-section views will also reset.
- You can add a picture to the background of the wavespace by selecting one using its Properties pane.
